The importance of helping people

One of the organizations and centers helped by the Blagomay Foundation was the Freedom Restoration Charitable Organization (Veliky Kuchuriv village), which opened a Center for IDPs. They shared with us the story of their life at the Center during the war.

 We would like to share with you a comment about the life at the Center during the war, which was shared with us by the Assistant to the Head of the Freedom Center - Tatiana Opikhanova 👇

✍️ "Since the beginning of the war, we have been housing and assisting people from Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkov. We have around 70 people under our care, including 17 children and teenagers. Some of our residents have already returned home.

Our Center is based on Christian beliefs and practices. We collaborate with the Emmanuel church in Chernivtsi. Our regular practices include reading the Bible in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

We spend Sunday lessons with children. Our mothers spend time with children on the playground. The brothers help in the warehouses with the loading and unloading of humanitarian aid.

We are also gradually restoring our main building on our own which was damaged by a fire in 2017.

We hold Evangelistic meetings for immigrants and for local residents of the city of Storozhenets. We also participate in providing food in collaboration with the Remar organization.

💓 With this work, the Charitable organization is helping both, migrants and local residents. This story is about strong and highly motivated people. During the war, it is especially important not to be an observer but to contribute to the social and economic life of the country.

This is the only way we will win the war 👊
