Today's post is about the life story of our Go Friends partners during war conditions! ❤️✍️
How so?
The Go Friends team has been a partner of the Foundation in the IT Study educational project for more than three years, and since the beginning of the war they have created their own center for migrants, Go Friends Save UA, which is about 4 months old.
This center is home to families who fled the war from zones of high conflict in Ukraine: families with many children, orphans, pregnant women, seniors and people with disabilities.
🏡 Now 173 people live in the Center, of whom: 73 are children with parents, 10 people with disabilitiesare disabled, 7 orphans, 3 pregnant women, 2 newborns, as well as families with many children.
☀️ With the exception of Sunday, most residents of the center work daily on the farm of the "Go Friends Farm" project, receiving a reward that helps provide the residents of the center with food in the future. In addition, the center has formed VPO (War-Political Situation) teams that prepare meals for the residents of the center. This happens three times a day for more than 170 people, and more than 200 people for distribution to other Stryi VPO’s. Additionally, teenagers from VPO families of the "GO Friends Save UA" center study the professions of Information Technology in a rented office space under the "GO Friends IT" program.
🗣 We would like to note that the Center has a specialized psychologist, who conducts various activities for children: morning exercises, movie evenings, and more. In addition, the psychologist conducts trainings on the topic of raising children for the team of volunteers of the Go Friends Save UA center and for parents.⠀
Imagine the range of help provided by our GO Friends partners! We are very proud that there are such important organizations in Ukraine and that our team of the Blagomay Charitable Foundation, together with the benefactors of the foundation, can be helpful and contribute to the realization of sustainable existence for both the Center and its residence 🙂
