The private charity project Leo States, whose partner is the Blagomai Foundation, became a finalist for the New European Bauhaus Prizes 2024 Award of the European Commission.
Leo States is a shelter for people who lost their homes due to the war, located in the village of Khorosno, Lviv region. During the two years of its existence, the project provided free housing to hundreds of victims. In Leo States, residents find psychological and medical support with the possibility of adaptation and employment.
In total, 530 projects from organizations from all over Europe were submitted for inclusion in the competition.
The announcement of the results of the public vote and the determination of the winners of the competition in four categories will take place on April 12 in Brussels.
