Report on the project "Warm for babies" supported by PepsiCo
July 16, 2024, 2:21 p.m.
📅 Since the beginning of 2024, every tenth premature baby was in neonatal incubators.
Neonatal care is vital for babies. The insufficient number of incubators and intensive care units in Ukraine poses a serious threat to the lives of these children. And stress and military operations are the cause of the increase in premature births.
🙏 As part of the implementation of the "Warm for Babies" project, which we implemented jointly and with the support of @pepsicoukraine, 41 incubators and 2 intensive care units were handed over to medical institutions in Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro regions. In less than 6 months, the results of the project are already having a significant impact, saving lives and giving hope to many families.
💚 Thanks to the project, the lives of 210 babies were saved and critical care was provided to 79 children. These numbers represent not only lives saved today, but also a bright future for these children and their families. And in a few years, this figure will reach 10,000 saved children's lives!
But in addition to assistance, an important element of the implementation of our projects is communication and media coverage of our initiatives and results.
📢 As part of the project's communication campaign, we received coverage in more than 65 regional media, 12 materials in Tier 1 Media, conducted 10+ interviews with doctors and aid beneficiaries.
It is by spreading the word about our activities that we ensure support and cooperation, which allows us to save even more lives and give our joint projects more publicity.
Together, we can not only continue to do good, but also give warmth and care to every child.
We thank our partners from the PepsiCo company in Ukraine for their support and implementation of joint projects! 💚
