Dear benefactors, in the morning on 19 February 2012 members and volunteers of the Foundation went to their own warehouse, took 24 packs of children's clothing, 36 sets of children's educational games(puzzles, playdough, coloring and painting sets) and 5 packages of gifts for meninick orphanages (Barbie dolls, school bag and educational games). First we visited the ward Fund orphanage "Gorobynka" in the village. Hrebinky, Vasylkiv district, Kyiv region. There we left each child a toy, handed the baby stuff, gave each a book "Kingdom of kindness", napisany benefactor of the Fund Yulia Kondratska. I chatted with the children, learned about their needs, and then boldly went on our first trip to the orphanage "Cheburashka". The orphanage "Cheburashka" is in town. Rokytne, Kiev region, this year is the first orphanage that the Foundation has taken custody of the expansion programme to 20 orphanages Fund in 2012. We are extremely worried because they do not know how we will be. Thank God, we have eagerly anticipated there. In the orphanage "Cheburashka is now 31 children from 4 to 18 years. According to Svetlana Nikolaevna of all the children only 2 have the status of orphans, and the rest have living parents deprived of parental rights. Over 12 years of 300 children, only one child was returned to his mother, restoring their parental rights, that it was a shame to hear. Himself orphanage is located in a large two story room. The house has a very cozy atmosphere – lots of flowers and beautiful curtains. The girls led us through the house, showing their "property". 1 girls ' room(newly renovated), 2 bedrooms of boys(cremonian), 2 classrooms, where children do their homework, games room, Assembly hall, faculty rooms, Director's office, a dining room(refurbished), computer room( in which only one of the 4 computers working). Children are well dressed, clean and tidy and the beds neatly made. We solemnly gave each child a toy. Loved the paintings of one of the pupil. The two girls regularly participate in singing competitions, one of them even won. The children took us to the hall and danced a few dances, and then Olga and Snejana decline sang Russian and Ukrainian songs. Very clean performance video of the song "Prayer" in the Serbian language, with which the singer won the Eurovision song contest. Pleasantly surprised by the boy Volodya, who began to read his poems in the Ukrainian language, and in a humorous way.
