The first module of the educational project "Attention Center"

The first module of the educational project "Attention Center", which is implemented by the Blagomay Foundation together with German partners Integration-Kulturzentrum e.V. im Kreis Mettmann, Aktion Mensch and Deutsch-Ukrainischer Verein "Besser Gemeinsam" E.V. The training was held for three days from November 18 to 21. The main goal of the project is to train boarding school staff where children with special needs live and study with all the latest practices, methods and skills of working with such children, for their better psychological and physical rehabilitation and education.
The first module was incredibly productive. Speakers were:
🔸 Tetyana Ivchatova - co-founder, methodologist and chief rehabilitation specialist of the Samotuzhka Rehabilitation Center. Candidate of Sciences in Physical Education and Sports, majoring in "Recreation". Master of Sports in Gymnastics. She gained experience working with special children in China, where she continues her internship to this day. He has been working with special children since 2004. She also studied best practices in working with children with special needs in Germany.
🔸 Babyak Olga, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Head of the Department of Psychological and Pedagogical Support of Children with Special Needs of the Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. Ms. Olga is the author of methodical materials, recommendations, manuals, textbooks for children with special needs. This directly applies to the support of children and their families. He is engaged not only in theoretical work, but also in practical work - he has 13 years of experience working with children with special needs, namely children with developmental delays, autism, and speech disorders.
🔸 Kostenko Tetyana Mykolayivna, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Head of the Department of Education of Visually Impaired Children, Mykola Yarmachenko Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
We thank the speakers for informative and useful lectures, for new knowledge and skills.
The project will also create a manual with the latest techniques for working with children with special needs and its further dissemination and implementation in institutions where they live and study.
The Attention Center has already supported ATIS Pharma, Bonus Work and 10+ individuals on a regular basis. The project needs additional funding of UAH 400,000 and we will be grateful if you join the implementation of our initiative with any contribution!
