Program "Discover Ukraine" we started thanks to sponsorship funding Mykola Latansky. Тому дякуючи Шановному Спонсору, 15-17 серпня 2012 року відбулася перша поїздка програми "Discover Ukraine" у м.Львів (with a budget of 22 thousand UAH.)

27 children from two orphanages – "Zlagoda" (Bila Tserkva) and "snowdrop" (p. Volchkov Polessky district of Kiev region) – travelled to the city of Lviv.

To the city, the children went by train the evening of 15 August and the morning - after arrival - was ready for a day of tours, which was prepared for the children tour operator "Etnoland". Day in Lviv was for babies are very unusual and interesting because they took part in a sightseeing bus and walking tours of the city, and visited the Potocki Palace, Lviv High Castle, St. George's Cathedral, the Jesuit Church, City Arsenal, Pharmacy-Museum, the "Museum of Chocolate". Children delight in the eyes was considered of the town's architecture and monuments, tore them from this delicious lunch and dinner. At the end of the tour the day about children, you could say only this: "tired but happy".

I am glad that the children from two orphanages during the trip, made friends among themselves, talked a lot, took pictures together, and when it came time to say goodbye – exchanged phone numbers.

Late in the evening of August 16, the train from Lviv took the kids back. The next day all of the children successfully reached his house, and then a few more days remembered and shared experiences. Now the kids make drawings of their impressions from this trip, because we will remind that after the children of the 12 orphanages we are working with, will visit all regions of Ukraine will be held a drawing competition "Discover Ukraine through children's eyes".
