A new sensory room has been opened at the Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1 — a special space designed to stimulate the senses and create a calming atmosphere. The room helps children and adults with neurological disorders, autism, or cerebral palsy develop sensory integration, reduce anxiety, and improve focus and emotional balance.
Such spaces are extremely important in hospitals, as they help young patients adapt to the medical environment, reduce stress, and support recovery. It is a place where children feel safe, calm, and cared for — alongside professional medical treatment.
The project was made possible thanks to the support of Mondelez Ukraine, which invests in creating modern educational and therapeutic environments to help Ukrainian children’s hospitals meet today’s international standards.
The Blagomay Charity Fund also expresses gratitude to the hospital’s specialists for their daily dedication, compassion, and care. Together — through the collaboration of business, charity, and healthcare professionals — we create places where treatment comes with warmth, understanding, and humanity.
