Evacuation Story: Kyiv City Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children Number 1

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, The BlagoMay / Charity May Charitable Foundation was among the first responders to initiate and complete immediate evacuation and relocation of orphanages and shelters in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. 

Before the Russian invasions, the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation for Children provided services for orphan children and families in the city of Kyiv. 

Through donations, we have safely relocated 112 orphans from their centers and shelters and moved them to Germany. 

With the financial support from our donors, the BlagoMay / Charity May team coordinated the logistics of this evacuation effort, providing transportation, lodging, essential goods, food and medicine for the children and their accompanying staff. 

The children have successfully reached Germany, where they are now recovering in safety from the war zone.
