Creating space for development and resilience 🌍💚

10/06/2026

Together with our partners, we have successfully completed the implementation of the large-scale HOME project — Hub for Education Opportunities and Mutual Support — in the city of Lebedyn, Sumy region, and the settlement of Olshanske, Mykolaiv region.

Throughout this time, we worked to ensure that children and adults in communities affected by the war had reliable support and opportunities for recovery.

Behind every number in this report is a child smiling again and a family that has felt safe. Timely support for such initiatives becomes a source of resilience for entire communities.

Swipe through the carousel to see the results of our work, and below we share the key achievements:

🏢 Education and safe spaces:

6 community centers were opened, and 6 mobile teams were established to provide access to educational opportunities across 18 communities.

4,200+ children gained access to safe and quality learning.

200 boys, girls, and children with disabilities received individual learning kits for home use.

40+ educators gained skills in working in emergency contexts, including EiE, PFA, and SEL.

☺️ Mental health and psychosocial support:

Nearly 9,700 people accessed psychosocial support and received professional assistance.

1,200+ parents and caregivers completed positive parenting training.

A result we are proud of: 80% of children reported reduced levels of stress and anxiety, while 90% of caregivers noted a significant improvement in their relationships with children.

🛡 Protection and targeted assistance:

300+ girls and boys from at-risk groups received individual support and case management services.

1,200+ people with special needs were referred to specialized services and support providers.

12 architectural barriers were removed, bringing infrastructure closer to European accessibility standards.

100 people received targeted cash assistance, and 120 people were provided with free transportation.

🔹 The project was implemented by a consortium of three partner organizations: Blagomay Charity Fund, AVSI, and the NGO “Potribni Tut.”

🔹 With the financial support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF).

We sincerely thank our partners and donors for their trust and shared goal — to create a place where support can truly be felt 💚
