Blagomay Foundation is entering a new stage of its development, transforming its operational activities into a systemic mechanism for the protection of children's rights.
Today, we are actively working on the development and implementation of a comprehensive advocacy strategy.
We are moving from direct service provision to creating sustainable change grounded in a rights-based approach.
Key objectives of the strategy:
Systemic change
Transitioning from reactive support to shaping systemic solutions in the field of child safety and rights protection.
Donor alignment
Strengthening the Foundation’s positioning for cooperation with international institutional donors.
Evidence-based policy
Leveraging our practical experience to develop effective advocacy messages and influence tools.
🤝 Synergy with professionals
This large-scale institutional development effort became possible thanks to grant support from ISAR Ednannia.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the team of the strategic communications agency UA Voice for their expert guidance. The process included substantial work:
- Internal capacity and external context assessment
- Mapping of key stakeholders (from ministries to local communities)
- Development of a clear Advocacy Map with defined priorities for the next 12 months
- Establishment of KPIs and success indicators to ensure our impact is measurable
📍 Focus areas
We have developed several strategic directions:
- Protection of children's rights in the educational environment
- Safe basic conditions in institutions where children stay (WASH, privacy, nutrition, shelters)
- Local “support pathways” for children affected by war
- Piloting the “School Ombudsperson” model
We are grateful to our partners — ISAR Ednannia, the Civil Society House, and the Askold and Dir Foundation — for strengthening our institutional capacity.
