December 1, 2012 the co-founders of the Fund "Blagoy" and Konstantin Golubyatnikov, Denis Hron made his first trip to the Children's home of family type of family Mishchenko, which is Horokhuvatka S., vul. Soviet 9a (Kagarlyk district of Kyiv region). Orphanage taken under the care of Fund. Soon on the Foundation's website will be a new section - family-type orphanages, which are under the custody of the Fund. Family type homes - these are homes where the existing family takes no more than 10 children-orphans or children whose parents are deprived of parental rights, the education which the state pays compensation for such a family . And this compensation is still not enough for a normal existence and full development of children. Children's home of family type in seconds. Horokhuvatka was organized by the priest of the Orthodox Church a priest Mishchenko Sergey Alekseevich and mother Mishchenko Elena Vasilievna. In the family of Mishchenko has 9 children - 5 boys and 4 girls aged 4 to 18 years. Their house has a small farm, a few cows, pigs, poultry. Children live in normal conditions, each according to the law has its 7 sq. m., but the family Mishchenko is now building a 2 storey extension to make large kitchen with a large table, and build 4-ri rooms for older kids, for the arrangement need furniture. I would also like to rebuild the barn for the sports hall to enable children to develop physically. Took our family Mishchenko feel very welcome, the children helped us bring gifts: fruits, warm clothes and shoes, Christmas toys, 25 MB games for development of logic and memory. Mother Helen fed us Ukrainian borsch and porridge, and gave it to icons, for what it separate thanks! While the children discussed the gifts, Father Sergius and Matushka Elena, spoke about the history of his life, and about the difficulties they faced in raising so many children. Father Sergius said that the priest he took at the age of 33, after he promised God that if God will cure mother Elena of the deadly disease, he will go to the priest. Mother Helena bestowed the gift of the chiropractor, or as they say "chiropractor", its gift is known not only in Kagarlyksky district, and people come from all over Ukraine. At the moment the orphanage is in need of school stationery, home appliances(especially kitchen), furniture for children's rooms, sports facilities, gyms, hygiene, organization of new year holidays, building materials, furnishing another house for children.
