One of the most common pathologies in newborns is hearing impairment. The most important step in solving this problem is early diagnosis and treatment in the first days of a baby's life. Therefore, within the framework of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity program, we have targeted assistance to children with hearing impairments.

Thanks to the funds raised with the help of OTP Bank, we purchased an audiometer for objective examination of newborns' hearing for the Mykolaiv Regional Children's Hospital (Mykolaiv) in the amount of UAH 290,000.

 An audiometer is the key to detecting and treating possible hearing problems in children before they say their first word.  This device makes it possible to provide early help to those kids who need it most.

The assistance provided through the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine program gives children a chance to live a full life - to hear their mother's voice, to receive full education and socialization.
