And we are happy with the first achievements of our girls in the framework of the Girl power Ukraine project. Lviv has completed its studies!

These two months were very busy, and as a result the girls gained a lot of new knowledge and impressions. The project was implemented in cooperation with the SUA Center for Women's Studies at the Ukrainian Catholic University with the support of the Department of the Service for Children of the Lviv City Council.

The girls listened to lectures from speakers on important topics. In particular, the girls listened to lectures:

✅ Irina Starovoit "Woman as a symbol and stereotype in culture"

✅ Kuchka Iryna “Between us girls”, where she talked to the girls about the rules of personal hygiene and contraception.

✅ Olga Ivanyk gave a lecture "Am I beautiful?" and talked to the girls about such important issues as changing their appearance and self-acceptance.

✅ Oleg Kindiy “History of elephant hunting or how to restore one's dignity?”

✅ Iryna Ivanyuk conducted a training on "Self-education and Personal Efficiency"

✅ Svitlana Nezabytovska talked to the girls about how to choose a dream job, about self-development and the first steps in planning for the future.

✅ Julia Horodynska gave a lecture on financial literacy

✅ Dana Yakovenko gave a lecture on safe relationships, personal space and how to avoid manipulation

✅ Natalia Shalata in “Leadership in me. Unleash your inner potential. ”

✅ Maria Sakvuk “Dreams and actions: ways of realization”.

They also talked about leadership, the role of women in history, how to unleash their inner potential and much more. Upon completion, the girls received gifts from partners and diplomas.

We thank all the speakers, partners and philanthropists, with whose help we were able to implement a project for girls from orphanages in Lviv.
