We are launching a new area of work at Blagomay — the implementation of a large-scale humanitarian project supported by an international donor.

The Charitable Fund “Blagomay” has been awarded a grant under the Help Localisation Facility (HLF), a global initiative aimed at strengthening the role of local organizations in humanitarian response. This is a competitive program with a multi-level selection process, where only projects with proven expertise, transparent processes, and measurable community impact receive funding.

More than 300 organizations submitted applications, and only 14 projects were selected for funding. Ours is among them.

The total grant amount is EUR 799,485.56 — the maximum funding available under this program.

The goal of the project is to provide children, adolescents, and their families affected by the war with access to comprehensive support: education, psychosocial assistance, protection services, and basic humanitarian aid.

As part of the project, five community centers will be established in the Sumy, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kyiv regions. These centers will operate as safe, accessible, and inclusive spaces for participants, offering educational programs, psychosocial support, case management, mobile outreach teams, and seasonal assistance.

A key feature of this project is its integrated approach. We do not address isolated needs — we build a system of support: from risk assessments and individual assistance plans to educational, cultural, and recovery programs.

This direction is about systemic work, long-term responsibility, and partnership.
