
"Brave in Spirit" supported by Mondelez Ukraine

Throughout 2024, the Blagomay Charity Fund and Mondelez Ukraine have successfully implemented a series of impactful projects, improving the lives of thousands of people. This large-scale initiative, called "Brave in Spirit", has focused on supporting hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and educational institutions, creating modern conditions for treatment and recovery.
🔹 Key Milestones of Our Collaboration
🤝 Signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation
Our joint efforts have been directed at supporting medical institutions affected by the war, purchasing rehabilitation equipment, and training specialists.
🏥 Opening of Rehabilitation Wards in Hospitals and Rehabilitation Centers:
📌 Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital – Opened a physical therapy room with 10 units of rehabilitation equipment, significantly improving treatment for children.
📌 Vyshhorod Hospital – Established an occupational therapy room with modern equipment for effective rehabilitation of patients.
📌 All-Ukrainian Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation (Liutizh) – Opened a new rehabilitation room, equipped with massage beds, rehabilitation complexes, and training machines, benefiting 3,800 people annually.
📌 Kyiv Regional Mental Health Center (Vorzel) – Opened a physical rehabilitation ward, equipped with therapy devices and an electromyograph, serving 3,000 patients annually.
📌 Sumy Regional Children's Clinical Hospital – Opened a neurosensory integration therapy room, providing specialized care to 1,123 patients annually.
📌 Sumy Regional Clinical Hospital – Improved medical infrastructure through the purchase of a ceiling lift system, an exercise bike, and a hand rehabilitation device, benefiting 3,000 patients annually.
📌 Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Children and Persons with Disabilities – Established a functional therapy office, providing specialized care for 900 patients annually.
📌 Clinical Hospital No. 5 (Sumy City Council) – Equipped an operating room in a bomb shelter, including surgical tables, lamps, surgical kits, and sterilizers, enabling 5,000 operations annually.
📌 Dnipropetrovsk Hospital No. 4 – Opened a prosthetics office, improving access to essential rehabilitation services.
📌 Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital No. 2 (Bila Tserkva) – Enhanced rehabilitation facilities to improve patient recovery.
🎓 Supporting Educational Institutions:
📍 O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University – Established a modern rehabilitation department for training specialists and providing rehabilitation for military personnel and children.
💵 Total Contribution by Mondelez Ukraine within the "Strong in Spirit" Project: 15 million UAH!
