Municipal institution of Kherson regional Council "Centre of socially-psychological rehabilitation of children" (hereinafter KZ CHOIR CSPRD) is an institution of social protection for children aged 3 to 18 years who are in difficult life circumstances. KZ CHOIR CSPRD with a capacity of 50 children. Pupils of the centre provides social, psychological, pedagogical, medical, legal and other types of assistance. The center accepts children from families in difficult life circumstances and are unable to overcome them using their own resources, if the parents for some reason (after a long illness, disability and the like) are unable to provide proper maintenance and care of the child, shirk parental responsibilities, use alcohol, drugs; children left without care of parents or persons replacing them; children who have been abused and in need of psychosocial help, to victims of child trafficking; street children. Taking children to the center are available: - in the direction of services for children, which is subordinate to the centre under an act of structural divisions on Affairs of children of the internal Affairs bodies; - at personal request of the child. The main objectives of the center are: - the implementation of social protection for children enrolled in the center; - giving children a complex of social services; - carrying out socio-pedagogical correction tailored to the individual needs of each child; - facilitating the return of the child to the biological family; - ensuring the child's attendance the educational institution; - assistance to formation of children's own position in life to overcome habits of anti-social behaviour; counselling and other assistance to parents (or persons replacing them) of children in the centre, aimed at returning the child to the family; - development of recommendations on socio-psychological adaptation of the child for teachers and parents. The center offers: - corrective-educational classes; - celebrations; - educational activities; - sporting events - theme weeks; - excursions; - psychological watch; - mugs; legal channel; - meetings with workers of law enforcement bodies, health care, patrons of the institution. In the hall the CHOIR CSPRD all the necessary housing, psycho-pedagogical, medical, legal conditions to ensure the normal life of children, providing them with opportunities for learning, productivity, and meaningful leisure time.
