A step forward for the health of our children!
Kyiv Regional Children's Hospital has opened the doors of a new physical therapy room for children.
Thanks to the support of the Blagomay Charitable Foundation, Mondelez Ukraine, and the assistance of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, we have opened a completely new department with 10 units of specialized rehabilitation equipment with a total cost of over 2 million hryvnias.
The equipment includes devices for the rehabilitation of the upper and lower extremities, equipment for passive development of knee joints, exercise machines for arms, legs, and special rehabilitation units that will help children with functional limitations restore motor abilities and improve their overall health.
💬 As noted by the co-founder of the Blagomay Charitable Foundation, Konstantin Golubyatnikov:
“The Blagomay Charitable Foundation systematically supports the capabilities of medical institutions in Ukraine. As part of our “Courageous in Spirit” project, today we opened a new physical therapy room at the Kyiv Regional Children’s Hospital in Boyarka. We thank our benefactors and state partners for the implementation of this project.”
Yaroslav Lyakhovych, Head of Corporate Affairs and Government Relations at Mondelez Ukraine, also shared an important contribution:
“At Mondelez Ukraine, we are pleased to join this important project to expand rehabilitation opportunities at the Kyiv Regional Children’s Hospital. Together, we can improve the conditions for treating young patients and help the medical team of the institution in their extremely important work.”
This initiative is already having a significant impact: in 2023, 758 children underwent a rehabilitation course in the old department, and in the first half of 2024 alone, 425. New opportunities and modern equipment will be an important step in providing even better care to children who need it so much.
We thank everyone who participated in the implementation of this project, and we continue to work to improve medical care in Ukraine 💛
