It brought up the children of parents who died defending our country from Nazi invaders. In 1967, the institution was transformed into a specialized Zelenogayskiy orphanage for mentally ill children. And since 2001 the institution has gained importance and was reorganized into the Municipal institution of health "Regional specialized children's home "Green guy" for children-orphans, children left without parental care and children with disorders of the Central nervous system. At this time, the baby house is designed for permanent stay of 110 children aged from birth to 7 years. Since February 2004 he is the only school in the Kharkiv region, where children-orphans born from HIV-infected mothers. Since may 2010, in the condominium “Green guy" opened the medico-social rehabilitation. For children children's home created good conditions for permanent residence.
