On the implementation of the Law of Ukraine "On state program "national action plan on the implementation of the UN Convention On the rights of the child" until 2016" with the goal of providing comprehensive assistance to children caught in difficult life circumstances, the decision of the Cherkasy oblast Council dated 13.09.2012, No. 8-22|VI created municipal establishment "Cherkasy regional center socially-psychological rehabilitation of children Cherkasy regional Council". Socio-pedagogical work socio-legal protection of children in difficult life circumstances, is in the centre in accordance with the UN Convention on the rights of the child, decree of the President of Ukraine of 16.12.2011 №1163/2011. "The issues to ensure the realization of children's rights in Ukraine", the Family code of Ukraine, laws of Ukraine "On protection of childhood", "On prevention of domestic violence", "On bodies and services for children and special institutions for children", Resolution KM of Ukraine №866, 905. "Cherkasy regional center socially-psychological rehabilitation of children Cherkasy regional Council" provides the following services: social, psychological and pedagogical diagnostics and rehabilitation; medical and legal. Rehabilitation of children in the center is the recovery ability to a normal life, which is achieved by using special forms of organization of life. The centre can accommodate 50 children aged 3 to 18 years. Currently, the center is 74 children. The Center has adequate housing and living conditions for the inmates.
