CND "Korostishev spetsshkola-internat" Zhytomyr regional Council based on the common ownership of territorial communities of the region and is in control of the Zhytomyr oblast Rada.

The main purpose of the special boarding school is the realization of the rights of children with intellectual disabilities to receive secondary education through the specially organized educational process in complex combination with correctional-developing work.

Структура: 2-9 класи. Діти з 8 до 18 років з усієї Житомирської області, в тому числі сироти та позбавлені батьківського піклування, інваліди. Адміністрація закладу не виконує по відношенню до дітей функцій державного опікуна і погоджує з представниками дітей всі питання щодо участі неповнолітніх в навчально-виховному процесі.

The pupils of the special boarding school are maintained by the state, but due to lack of funding really limits provided only food. The school is in constant need of drugs and consumable medical materials, clothing and shoes, stationery, hygiene products, household chemicals, educational tools, sports equipment, materials for implementation of school projects. Children have a need for the services of a hairdresser, willing to take part in excursions, workshops.
