Milestones in the history of the school

1884 – the first mention of the organization of adult education of the blind in Mari Trustees happy. 1906. – created a school for blind children. 1916 – school blind children evacuated to Kiev. 1934 – resumed the work of the school for the blind. 1963 – reorganized school visually impaired children. 2001 – reorganized into educational complex with the rehabilitation centre for visually impaired children. 2013 – reorganized in a special boarding school I-III stages of Khmelnitsky regional Council 2014 – special boarding school arestovano recognized with distinction for the status of secondary educational institutions of Kamianets-Podilsky special boarding school I-III stages of Khmelnitsky regional Council is a municipal educational institution for children in need of vision correction. The school operates under a Charter approved by the Order of the Chairman of Khmelnytsky regional Council from 23.04.2013 №73/2013-and. Boarding school is subject to the General property of territorial bulks of villages, settlements, cities of Khmelnitsky region, which is controlled by Khmelnytsky oblast Rada. Boarding school controlled by and accountable to the Khmelnytsky regional Council, is a legal entity, has independent balance. The main purpose of boarding school is the development and formation of personality, socio-psychological rehabilitation and labour adaptation of students to inculcate in them universal values, citizenship, meet the needs of children with delays in physical development in General education, social assistance and rehabilitation. The teachers of the school also participate in regional and national scientific conferences and present experience with children with visual impairment. REHABILITATION WORK

Concluded agreements on cooperation with secondary schools M. Kamianets-Podilsky city pmpk. In accordance with them carried out work on the provision of complex rehabilitation of children with visual impairment enrolled in inclusive or individual form. For the 2017 event comprehensive rehabilitation received 38 students, 28 of them – twice. Events comprehensive rehabilitation in the dynamic Wellness rehabilitation class got 16 pupils with visual impairment secondary schools of Khmelnytskyi region. Comprehensive rehabilitation, which is held for pupils of special boarding school gives satisfactory results. In particular, every year decreases the level of somatic morbidity students: 2014 – 235 students; 2015 – 144 students, 2016 108 students; 2017 – 100 students. About the good nutrition of students shows a decrease in the number of children for gastroenterology profile: 2014 – 16 pupils; 2015 – 14 students; 2016 – 12 students; 2017 – 11 students. Cases of infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract is not registered. At a high level sdissues work on labor protection and injury prevention. For 2017 there have been no cases of injury to students and employees during educational process. During July-August 2017 pupils of the school have improved their health on the basis of Reni interfarm children's health establishment "Aifa".
