This partnership is about trust.

The cooperation between the Blagomay Charitable Foundation and GlobalGiving began in 2023, when the Foundation joined this international crowdfunding platform. After that, we became familiar with the work of the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, launched by GlobalGiving in response to the full-scale invasion to support local organizations.

Following the verification process and several discussions, it became clear that our focus and approach to work naturally complement GlobalGiving’s portfolio in supporting children in Ukraine.

Today, this partnership is part of the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, which has already mobilized over USD 70 million in aid and supported hundreds of organizations.

In this partnership, it is not only resources that matter, but also the approach:
— focus on local organizations
— rapid response and understanding of local needs
— flexible funding for real needs
— impact assessment, not only process evaluation

For our team, this support means the ability to operate consistently — even in crisis conditions.
In particular, it allows us to respond quickly to winter challenges, power outages, and maintain the Foundation’s core activities.

As Oksana Plakhotniuk notes:
“We see a clear focus in the work, real results, and high-quality communication. And this is exactly what builds trust.”

The value of this partnership lies in mutual understanding of roles and in communication grounded in humanity. GlobalGiving enables the transfer of resources, while we ensure their effective use at the community level.

For us, this is a partnership that can be described in one word — trust.
