7 March 2018 Four children from the Khutornye’s family-style Children’s Home met Tamas Hak-Kovacs, the chairman of the board of OTR Bank in Kyiv.
They acquainted themselves with the auditing, legal and other departments of the bank.
In the VIP department of OTR bank the children were told about money, how to check its authenticity, and were shown a wad of 100,000 hryvnia. They were told about the differences between bank cards and had lots of questions answered.
Liza is passionate about Korean music and dreams of visiting China and Korea. She has a friend in Korea with whom she chats. Liza dreams of becoming a landscape designer, and baking cakes as a hobby.
Magdalina is learning to play the piano and dreams of playing jazz music and having her own musical group. She speaks excellent English. She knows today’s dollar conversion rate and just like all girls, dreams of having her own iPhone.
Zhenya is a charming creature, a gentle little flower. She has already had her own professional photo session. She loves travelling and holding your hand so that you can protect her as she’s still very little.
Serezha is a grown-up young man. He’s not especially interested in banking, but when you mention football, Dynamo Kyiv, dollars and euros, his eyes begin to sparkle, a smile appears and he has heaps of questions. A future businessman is growing in him.
I would like to express especial thanks to OTR Banks’s Private Banking business line (Viktoria Myslivaya) and the European department of OTR Bank (Natalia Klyshta) for their incredibly interesting presentation and delicious cake.
Afterwards the children had lunch and headed off to watch an animated film at the large cinema.
