22.06.2013 was made a visit to the Family Type Orphanage ‘Mishenko’ located in Gorohoovatka village under the ‘Good Workshop’ (‘Masterskaja Dobra’ original) program.
It was attended by: the well-doer on the wheels Dariaand Katerina — the master of wooden spoons painting.
Mishenko Family Impressions: One Saturday morning we were visited by the CF ‘Blagomai’ volunteers to provide a master class for us. Our kids were hesitative enough but while examining the spoons they seemed absolutely enthusiastic. Bet they have learned every pattern painted. Once we started the master-class they were trying to catch every detail with their mouths left opened. After Daria and Katerina left us we took in other guests. Kids couldn’t stop showing the amaizing spoons they’ve painted and boasting their Kiev guests. ‘
Katerina’s Impressions: ‘We’ve provided the creative class of painting wooden spoons with a Tripolian signs. Kids learned out the ancient and amazing civilization which left us the rich heritage full of potteries and astonishing drawings. Guys got to know the meaning of signs and symbols. They were full of responsibility choosing the sign for their spoon because they wholeheartedly believed it could help to make their dreams come true. This is how our spoons-amulets were created. It was really amazing process. Our photographer Pavel told us about the similarity between Polish and Ukrainian. Then he even taught us some patters so it was one more chance to have fun.
